Like so many professional theaters this year, the Lake George Dinner Theatre was unable to present what would have been their 53rd season. The Board of Directors is still actively preparing and planning for 2021 but also wanted to engage the local community for some fun to begin the new year.
So, Lake Theatre Productions, Inc, which is the parent company of The Lake George Dinner Theatre is sponsoring a play writing competition to keep the creative energy flowing throughout this winter as we look forward to brighter days ahead next season.
Interested adults and high school students are invited to submit a 10-minute original play by February 1, 2021 for consideration. Three winning plays will be chosen for a virtual or in-person staged reading or performance in 2021 along with an honorary seat for the playwright at the next in-person season.
